I have never actually put together a Christmas gift guide before, so I thought it was about time I gave it a go! Whether you’re thinking of ideas for yourself for other people to get you (I know people always ask me what I would like and I’m like ummmm), or you’re looking to treat some special ladies in your life, hopefully this gift guide will give you a bit of inspo! There’s a lot of beauty bits, but I’ve thrown in some other lovely gift ideas as well which I would definitely be happy to receive.
Before I begin: This posts contains affiliate links. Also, some of these items have been gifted to me as part of my ambassadorship with Boux Avenue. I will mark these items with ‘gifted’. This month, they gifted me such gorgeous things that are perfect stocking fillers and prezzie ideas which I couldn’t resist sharing with all of you!
Don’t forget you can use my discount code HANNAHOBOUX20 for 20% OFF Boux Avenue’s entire Christmas section this month!
So, onto the gifts!
Violet Voss Holy Grail Eyeshadow Palette | In my opinion, this is one of the best neutral eyeshadow palettes out there and is perfect for both day looks, and more smokey evening looks. I get so much wear out of it and this is the perfect palette for a beauty lover, especially someone who might be new to slightly more high end makeup and is looking for a starter palette.
Ted Baker Sweet Treats ‘Polly’ Eau De Toilette | This is one of my top 3 favourite perfumes. It just smells SO GOOD. It’s one of those scents that is perfect for either day or night, but it also lasts long enough to go from the day right through to night. People always compliment me on it and it’s actually really affordable for a perfume (that smells this good!) as well. It’s available in 30ml or 100ml. Boots describe the scent as:
“It has top notes of mandarin, red berries and peach, her heart belongs to white jasmine, honeysuckle and peony. With a dreamy twist of amber and vanilla topped off with white musk.”
Karen Millen Purse | I actually got this purse for my birthday and I love it so much. It’s got plenty of room in it for cards and coins, and when it is full it doesn’t feel bulky either because of the slim design. It’s such a classic purse that will never go out of style, so IMO this is such a nice gift.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Sugar Glow Kit | If you’re looking to get someone a gorgeous beauty gift, then you really can’t go wrong with a ABH glow kit. The packaging is gorgeous, the quality of the highlighters is amazing and it just feels so nice to open and play with on Christmas Day! Perfect for a beauty lover who loves to glooooow.
Boux Avenue Stripe Pyjamas In A Bag (gifted) | These are honestly some of the cutest PJ’s I’ve ever owned! The pink and white stripes are just so girly and the material is so soft and snuggly too – perfect for lounging around on Christmas Day whilst still feeling put together! The Boux PJ’s in a bag come in a range of designs too so there’s something for everyone. I’d recommend sizing down in these as they come up quite big! I’m usually an 8 at Boux but these fit me better in a 6.
Real Techniques Brush Cleaning Palette & Cleanser | This might seem like a boring gift, but it’s actually one that comes in quite handy because it’s not something that someone might necessarily buy for themselves. If you’re also planning on buying someone a brush kit, then this cleansing kit alongside would be perfect to help them keep their brushes squeaky clean!
Boux Avenue Foiled Pom Pom Hat and Scarf Set (gifted) | I can’t get over how gorgeous this set is! It’s so feminine and perfect for the festive season too because of the gold foil. Boux Avenue have some gorgeous winter accessories sets, which would make such a lovely gift to wear throughout the rest of winter.
Huda Beauty ‘Angelic’ Lip Strobe & NYX Lip Lingerie ‘Butter’ Glitter Gloss | What could be more perfect as a Christmas prezzie than a festive lip gloss? The lip strobe has a gorgeous pinky nude metallic finish, whereas the Butter gloss is a richly pigmented brown shade with a finely milled glittery finish. SO pretty! The Huda one is perfect if you fancy a splurge, or you could alternatively go for the NYX one if you wanted something more affordable.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish & Top Coat | Whilst I do love other cheaper nail polishes, Sally Hansen polishes are that little bit more luxury and are of a really lovely quality. I actually got some of these for my boyfriend’s Mum last Christmas because she wears nail polish all the time, and she loved them. The top coat is amazing too because it adds a beautiful high shine look to your nails as if you’ve come straight from the salon. Choose a shade that suits your lady in mind and pair it with the top coat, and you’ve got an amazing prezzie!
Yankee Candle in ‘Christmas Memories’ | You can’t beat a festive candle! This one is perfect as a gift, because it’s one of those scents that someone will still love even after Christmas throughout the rest of winter. This one smells of cinnamon and gingerbread and it’s just divine. Perfect for Mum’s, Gran’s and even your friends who might love candles! (Is it a sign that I’m getting old when I get excited over candles?)
Primark Teddy Bear Slipper Socks | How bloody cute are these?! I picked these up in Primark the other day for £3.50 and thought they would make a great stocking filler. They are actually really lovely quality for Primark (SO SOFT!) and I think anyone would find it hard not to love these.
Boux Avenue Stocking Fillers (gifted) | Boux Avenue have some great stocking fillers, like the lovely hand cream and lip balm pictured above. These sort of things are great for wrapping up alongside a bigger and more expensive gift as a nice little extra. They’ve also got some really cute fluffy socks under this section so definitely take a look!
And there we have it! My first ever Christmas gift guide. I hope you all loved it, please do let me know what you think and whether you found it helpful. I guess I should really take my own advice and do some more of my Christmas shopping…
