There’s nothing better than a wardrobe revamp for a new season, even if the weather in the UK isn’t quite fully blown spring yet (typical, eh?). I’ve got to a point where I’m fed up of wearing big thick jumpers and coats to keep warm. I’m ready for t-shirts, thin jackets, day dresses and lots of new fun colours.
You may notice there seems to be a green theme going on. I am obsessed with the River Island top, located top right. I love the monochrome, but then bam there’s a huge pop of a gorgeous bright green. Speaking of bright green, the Topshop jumpsuit, located the top left, is probably the prettiest jumpsuit I have ever seen. This would be perfect for a really warm Spring day and could definitely be carried through to summer as well.
There are three more basic tops here which I have chosen, all in the middle of each row, which would be perfect for tucking into a skirt or wearing with a pair of jeans. I’m loving the whole cold shoulder trend at the moment so the ZARA top, located bottom middle, definitely had to make this wishlist. The Topshop grey high neck top would look great with a black denim skirt, don’t you think? I like that the Miss Selfridge khaki green top is a little more dressy, meaning I could wear it on a night out as well as during the day.
Vertical stripes seem to be in too. I’ve chosen a lovely striped shirt dress from New Look, located bottom right, which is khaki green (yay) and is in the petite section (YAY). What more could I want? Kimonos are also great for spring, and summer too while we’re at it, and I’m totally loving the pop of pastel blue in the one from New Look I chose, located middle right.
Since the sun is out shining a little more than before, now is the perfect time to invest in some new sunglasses. This pair from Topshop are the nicest ones I’ve seen so far. I nearly bought them the other day in store and now I regret leaving them. I think next time I take a trip to Topshop, they might end up coming home with me.
And finally, a pair of shoes. I don’t really own a pair of trainers that I can wear on an everyday basis as opposed to just working out. I adore these Nike trainers so much, they look so comfy and I have a feeling I’d get a lot of wear out of them.
