Urban Decay Naked Palette

It’s nearly the end of August which means during this month I celebrated my 16th birthday. I’ve wanted this product for so long now and was so happy when I opened it on my birthday; it’s the Urban Decay Naked Palette! The Naked Palette contains 12 beautiful shades consisting of shimmer, matte and glitter eyeshadows. There are also a great range of colours; from neutral creams and beiges to smokey and shimmery browns. Each shade also has its own unique name, which I think is really nice.

I love this palette because it is incredibly versatile, so it can be used to create a variety of different looks. It can be used to create a very neutral ‘no makeup’ look with some of the lightest and most neutral colours, for example Virgin, Sin and Naked. As well as that you can create a gorgeous summery look using the shimmery gold and bronzes, for example Half Baked and Smog. If you want to create a smokey eye look for the evening time you can use the deeper and darker colours in the palette, for example Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal.

The quality of the eyeshadows are absolutely amazing, they are so soft and ridiculously pigmented, and to top it all off the staying power is brilliant. The Naked Palette also came with a smaller version of Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion which helps to create a smooth base so the eyeshadow lasts even longer.

In my opinion, there is literally nothing bad to say about this product. If you are looking to invest in some high end eyeshadows of amazing quality, I would strongly recommend the Urban Decay Naked Palette. I expect that the Naked 2 Palette is equally as amazing, even though I haven’t tried it, but that’s what I am guessing from the quality of the original Naked Palette!
